چکیده

With the evolution of COVID-19 pandemic, there is now a need for point-of-care devices quantification disease biomarkers toward severity assessment. Disease progression has been determined as multifactor phenomenon and can be treated based on host immune response within each individual. CoST an electrochemical immunosensor device that determine through multiplex measurement spike protein, nucleocapsid D-dimer, IL-2R from 100 μL plasma samples few minutes. The limit detection was found to 3 ng/mL 21 S N proteins whereas D-dimer it 0.0006 0.242 ng/mL, respectively. Cross-reactivity all studied <20%. Inter intra-assay variability sensor less than <15% confirming its ability detect target biomarker in body fluids. In addition, this platform also tested quantify four 40 patient predict index. A significant difference observed between healthy with p-value 0.0002 <0.0001 other COST used point care assess at clinical sites. This modified impact wide range indications where prognostic monitoring critical modulating therapy.

Nanomaterials for Electrochemical Immunosensing

Electrochemical immunosensors resulting from a combination of the traditional immunoassay approach with modern biosensors and electrochemical analysis constitute a current research hotspot. They exhibit both the high selectivity characteristics of immunoassays and the high sensitivity of electrochemical analysis, along with other merits such as small volume, convenience, low cost, simple prepar...

Parthenium Dermatitis Severity Score to Assess Clinical Severity of Disease

BACKGROUND Parthenium dermatitis is the most common type of airborne contact dermatitis in India. It is a chronic disease of a remitting and relapsing course with significant morbidity and distress, but there is no scoring system to assess its severity. AIM To design a scoring system for the assessment of clinical severity of disease in Parthenium dermatitis and to use this scoring system in ...

An objective approach to dry eye disease severity.

PURPOSE A prospective, multisite clinical study (10 sites in the European Union and the United States) evaluated the clinical utility of commonly used tests and tear osmolarity for assessing dry eye disease severity. METHODS Three hundred fourteen consecutive subjects between the ages of 18 and 82 years were recruited from the general patient population, 299 of which qualified with complete d...

Native T1 values identify myocardial changes and stratify disease severity in patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy

BACKGROUND Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is an X-linked, inherited disorder causing dilated cardiomyopathy with variable onset and progression. Currently we lack objective markers of the effect of therapies targeted towards preventing progression of subclinical cardiac disease. Thus, our aim was to compare the ability of native T1 and extracellular volume (ECV) measurements to differentiate...

Automated Interpretable Computational Biology in the Clinic: a Framework to Predict Disease Severity and Stratify Patients from Clinical Data

We outline an automated computational and machine learning framework that predicts disease severity and stratifies patients. We apply our framework to available clinical data. Our algorithm automatically generates insights and predicts disease severity with minimal operator intervention. The computational framework presented here can be used to stratify patients, predict disease severity and pr...
